Ik heb last van erectieproblemen (verminderde potentie) en beleef daardoor veel minder plezier bij het hebben van sex. Dit komt bij mij volgens mij door het gebruik van aripiprazol en paroxetine.

Nu is mijn vraag kan ik dit oplossen door er viagra bij te gebruiken? Dit i.v.m een evt. wisselwerking tussen de medicijnen. Ik gebruik ook methylfenidaat. Ik ben een man van 51 jaar.

Viagra kan helpen voor de erectieproblemen, maar niet voor verminderd libido per se (zin in sex).

Viagra in combinatie met de medicijnen die je aangeeft moet besproken worden met de voorschrijver in verband met de wisselwerking tussen de medicaties en andere factoren. Is in principe echter wel mogelijk...

De wisselwerkingen tussen de medicaties zitten vooral tussen de paroxetine en de aripiprazol en de paraoxetine en de methylphenidaat (zie interactie rapport hieronder).

Viagra zou in principe geen verdere wisselwerking moeten geven - maar eerst bespreken met je voorschrijver!

methylphenidate PARoxetine

Applies to: methylphenidate, paroxetine

Methylphenidate may increase the blood levels and effects of PARoxetine. You may be more likely to experience side effects, including a rare but serious condition called the serotonin syndrome, which may include symptoms such as confusion, hallucination, seizure, extreme changes in blood pressure, increased heart rate, fever, excessive sweating, shivering or shaking, blurred vision, muscle spasm or stiffness, tremor, incoordination, stomach cramp, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Contact your doctor if you experience increased side effects or your condition changes during treatment with these medications. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

PARoxetine ARIPiprazole

Applies to: paroxetine, aripiprazole

PARoxetine may increase the blood levels and effects of ARIPiprazole. This can make you more likely to develop side effects such as drowsiness, seizure, Parkinson-like symptoms, abnormal muscle movements, and low blood pressure. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. Contact your doctor if you experience agitation, aggression, confusion, convulsions, muscle spasm, or movements that you can\'t stop or control such as lip smacking, chewing, puckering, frowning or scowling, tongue thrusting, teeth clenching, jaw twitching, blinking, eye rolling, shaking or jerking of arms and legs, tremor, jitteriness, restlessness, pacing, and foot tapping. Also be alert to symptoms of low blood pressure such as dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or increased pulse or heart rate. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how these medications affect you, and use caution when getting up from a sitting or lying position, especially at the beginning of treatment or after an increase in dose of ARIPiprazole. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
